The tenth annual 'Green Ribbon Walk and Talk Campaign' will take place in Monaghan this evening.
The walk which is organised by the IFA aims to spread awareness about all mental health difficulties in order to help end mental health stigma and discrimination.
Eleven walks have been organised in venues throughout the country during August and September, however Monaghan will be the first ever county to launch the event later this evening.
Mary Deery is Monaghan IFA's farm family chairperson, and believes an event like this can encourage more people, particularly men, to speak out about their mental health.
