Visiting slots at a Cavan nursing home are booked out for the next fortnight.
Today nursing homes are allowed to let family and friends indoors, but they can only come one at a time, by appointment.
At the Sheelin Nursing Home, they are scheduling visits to help control footfall into the building.
Anyone entering the home will need to have their temperature taken and wear PPE the entire time.
