Down Syndrome Centre North East are holding their third annual virtual walk/run fundraiser called "321 Go Neon" to raise funds for the centre.
The virtual event will take place on Sunday the 26th of March.
The Down Syndrome North East Centre is a local non-profit organization which provides subsidised essential services for the Down Syndrome Community in Cavan, Louth, Meath, Monaghan and surrounding areas.
Marketing & Communications Executive Ben McKenna said this year to be bigger and brighter than before with participants invited to dress up in neon or colourful clothing and to walk or run 3kms over the weekend.
The fundraiser will help raise much needed funds to continue to support the children and families that benefit from the services provided both online and at the Centre itself in Carrickmacross. The first 800 participants will receive a complimentary DSC North East branded Snood! Ben says the event is open to everyone in Ireland and abroad.
The whole family is invited to be part of the centre, not just the child, and they also extend their services to educators, care givers, and other professionals that work with the child.
