Virginia is the most expensive town in Cavan to buy a property whilst Ballyconnell is the cheapest.
According to figures in the Sunday Independent, the difference in price between the two towns for a 3 bed semi is over €100,000.
The average price for a three bed semi-detached in Virginia is €290,000 whilst the average price for the same house in Ballyconnell is €180,000.
Cavan Town comes in at an average of €260,000 and Bailieborough at €200,000.
The difference is not as pronounced when looking at apartments with Virginia at an average price of €180,000, and Cavan Town and Bailieborough at €175,000 for a two-bed apartment.
The price for the same property in Ballyconnell is €140,000.
