A local school believes a new bus will change students lives for the better. The Holy Family School in Cootehill are working towards the purchase of an additional bus to allow for pupils to attend day trips and go on tours. The school has grown in size and now has approximately 290 pupils. The purchase of a new bus would cost in the region of €73,000.
A Tractor, Lorry, and Vintage Car run is being held today starting from McAnenly Fuels Moybridge at 1pm to help raise funds. Chairperson of the Holy Family School Committee, Mark Gilsenan, says its important pupils enjoy their time in school to the fullest.
