Vehicles seized in Monaghan following joint Garda operation

A joint Garda and NTA Compliance operation was conducted in Monaghan Town over the weekend. As a result of the operation, a significant number of vehicles and drivers were detected operating for the carriage of persons for hire or reward without the necessary licences or insurance to do so. Vehicles were seized with court dates to follow.

Local Gardaí say it is "highly recommended" that you only use licensed vehicles and drivers. The TFI driver check app can be used to verify if the vehicle and driver has the correct license to carry the public safely.
