A van with a trailer has been detected travelling at close to 120 kilometres in Co Cavan.
The speeding van driver was clocked at 117 kmph in an 80 kmph speed zone.
The trailer was being used to transport another vehicle at the time.

Cavan Roads Policing Unit says this is just one of a number of recent speed detections, including of a motorist travelling at 134 kmph.
Fixed Charged Payment Notices were issued to the offending drivers.
Local gardaí have reminded motorists to be considerate of their speed when on the road.
