A letter is to be sent to the staff at the Hillgrove Hotel to thank them for their work in vaccinating people in the county.
At a recent Monaghan County Council meeting, Fianna Fáil's PJ O'Hanlon praised the vaccine roll-out in the hotel and asked that the Local Authority send a letter expressing its gratitude.
He says they're "doing a first class job" and are a "credit to themselves, the profession, and the people of County Monaghan".
Councillor O'Hanlon was recently vaccinated at the Hillgrove Hotel and said he "felt very proud" at the care shown to everyone receiving their jab.
Healthcare workers could get a bonus for their work during the pandemic under plans being considered by the Government, and PJ O'Hanlon says they should be "rewarded sincerely":
