Four pop up Covid-19 vaccination clinics will take place across Cavan and Monaghan this week.
The HSE has warned that Flu and Covid-19 viruses are now circulating in local communities and therefore has appealed to the public to get vaccinated.
The first of the vaccination clinics will take place today in Drumalee GAA Clubhouse, St. Felim's Park, Cavan, from 10:30am - 1pm and 1:45pm - 4pm - for those aged 12 years and over.
Elsewhere in County Monaghan, a pop-up clinic will take place at St Joseph's Pastoral Centre, Broad Rd, Mullaghmonaghan, this Wednesday, November 2nd, from 10.30am to 1pm and 1.45pm and 4pm for those aged 12 years and over.
Later in the week The Old Courthouse in Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, will hold a pop-up vaccination clinic from 10:30am - 1pm and 1:45 - 4pm - for those aged12 years and over
The last of the vaccination clinics across the Northern Sound region will take place at the Primary Healthcare Centre, Oriel Rd, Carrickmacross, in Co Monaghan on Saturday, November 5th from 10am until 2.45pm for those aged 12 years and over.
You can book your Covid-19 vaccine appointment online at www.hse.ie/bookk or you can walk-in to the centre. There are different times offered for different age cohorts, therefore please ensure you book/walk-in to the correct clinic for your age.
Operational Site Manager for Cavan and Monaghan Covid -19 Vaccination Services Paula Loughran told Northern Sound that the Vaccination is proven to offer significant protection against Covid-19 illness and infection.
As a result, she is urging all those who are eligible to ensure their vaccinations for both Flu and COVID-19 are up to date in order to be winter ready.
