UPDATE: Female airlifted to hospital following N3 crash

The N3 remains closed follows a two-car collision at Drumgora just outside Virginia. The collision occurred at approximately 1pm this afternoon. Emergency services were at the scene and a female was brought by air ambulance to the Mater Hospital in Dublin. It’s not known as of yet the condition the person is in at present that was involved in the collision. The road remains closed and diversions are in place.
