A unique exhibition of photos and artefacts covering all aspects of Irish life dating back to the 1700s has opened to the public for the first time in Co Cavan.

The Magpie Collection includes an array of tools used by saddlers, blacksmiths, and cobblers and features all sorts of household and farming items to give an insight into how our ancestors lived.

The collection will be available to view in the home of John Clancy and Tina Tully, in Lisnabuntry, Virginia.
