Uninsured driver caught speeding in Monaghan

Whilst on patrol, Gardaí in Monaghan detected a car travelling at excessive speed on the N2. According to local Gardaí, it was soon established that the driver was disqualified from driving and therefore had no insurance.

Further investigation revealed there was also two outstanding bench warrants in existence for the driver. The car was taken off the road and the driver has subsequently appeared in court.
