Ukrainian refugees are set to move into Cavan modular housing estate in early 2023.
The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth has confirmed to Northern Sound that residents will be moving into the homes early in the New Year.
Works have commenced on the 30 modular homes that have been earmarked for Ukrainian refugees in Cavan.

30 modular homes will be located at Farnham Road in Cavan Town.
Due to the size of the site in Cavan, it was initially envisioned that 60 units could be accommodated, however upon further technical assessment of the site constraints, is was deemed suitable for 30 units.
All modular sites will have roads, footpaths, street lighting and community facilities, including a play area and green spaces fully in line with Local Authority planning guidance.
A spokesperson for the department said "The modular homes will be highly energy efficient, durable units with a 60 year lifespan and the development of the sites will be conducted in an environmentally sustainable way to ensure that, post development, the site will enhance the local area."
