Two rural break-ins reported in Co Monaghan

Two burglaries occurred yesterday in the Doohamlet/Cremartin area of Co Monaghan.

The first was at a farmyard in Corleanamaddy, where a Red Honda 500 Quad with sprayer was taken, along with a Stihl Con Saw and a number of Hilti and Dewalt power tools. The second burglary occurred at a farmyard in Drumgristin, where a Husqvarna chainsaw and a number of Milwaukee power tools were taken.

Both Break-ins occurred overnight from Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Gardaí in Castleblayney are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 042 9747900.
