Two people are in custody over a major 1.1 million euro drugs seizure in Monaghan and Louth.
Cash was also found during a number of searches in both counties
The Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, backed by the Garda Dog Unit carried out the searches at around 12pm yesterday.

They found 1 million 120 thousand euro worth of cannabis herb, along with 100 thousand euro in cash in Monaghan and Louth.
A gun and ammunition which is suspected to be the proceeds of crime were also recovered.
A 29 year old man and 26 year-old woman were arrested and both are being questioned at Carrickmacross Garda Station.
