Two people hospitalised following Monaghan car crash

Two people were brought to hospital after a two vehicle crash in Monaghan yesterday morning.

The incident occurred on the N12 near Killyneill, Tyholland just before 11am.

Emergency services were called to the scene, with fire crews having to assist after one of the vehicles caught fire.

Two men were brought to hospital to be treated for the injuries and investigations are ongoing.
