Two local GAA clubs have been awarded €5,000 each under the Texaco Support for Sport initiative.
Cavan's Lavey GAA Club will use the money to develop its facilities, including the construction of a new retaining wall and fence, new ball stops and drainage work in the carpark.
Meanwhile, Latton O'Rahilly GAA in Castleblayney were the Co Monaghan winners.
It plans to use the funding to purchase exercise machines adjacent to its running track.
Now in its second year, the Texaco Support for Sport initiative sees an annual fund of €130,000 set aside for successful applicants, chosen on a county-by-county basis.
Former Irish rugby international Donncha O'Callaghan oversaw the adjudication process, and entries to the 2023 initiative will open this Autumn.
