Two juveniles have been questioned as part of investigations into the theft
of a car in Ballinode last week.
Last Saturday, a silver VW Passat was taken from the village and later
recovered in Monaghan town with slight damage.
Afterwards it was discovered that a number of parked cars in Ballinode were
also broken into on the same night.

This week Gardai searched a property under warrant and recovered the stolen
property.
Two juveniles were interviewed as a result and a file is currently being
prepared following the incident.
