Cavan Roads Policing Unit were out conducting random checkpoints yesterday.
Two drivers failed a roadside breath test for alcohol.
Both were arrested and brought to the Garda Station for further testing.

Both drivers were found to be over the legal limit.
Gardai across the region are reminding motorists to never consume alcohol or drugs.
