Two dogs from the same County Cavan litter were reunited on Christmas Day in Kerry.
The two dogs met each other at a Christmas Day Swim on a beach in the Kingdom County for the first time after they were homed with two separate Dublin families as puppies.
The two dogs began playing with each other and following a conversation, the owners made the connection when they realised they had the same date of birth.
Noel the owner of one of the dogs said it was a great coincidence that both of them ended up meeting with each other and both live less than ten minutes apart.
Noel posted the reunion on Twitter and the video of the two dogs has been seen by almost 500,000 people.
He told Northern News that it’s certainly a small world:
