Two separate water notices in Co Cavan have been lifted with immediate effect.
Do Not Consume notices were put in place on the Dernakesh and Killsherdany Group Water Schemes.
Following consultation with the HSE, Cavan County Council has lifted these notices and the water is now safe for use and can be used for drinking and food preparation.
If water systems have not been in use for the duration of the notice, consumers should flush out their systems by running hot and cold taps for at least thirty minutes before resuming normal use of the water supply.
However, if the internal or domestic water system has been in general use throughout the period of the notice, you may now use your water supply as normal.
