Two Co Cavan schools are playing a role in shaping the redeveloped primary education curriculum.
The consultation on the Draft Primary Curriculum Framework will run until the end of February, 2022.
The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment says it's keen to engage with teachers, school leaders, children and parents as part of the consultation.

While Derek Grant says the primary curriculum was "cutting edge" at the time, it's now over 20 years old and needs updated, with an emphasis on well-being, modern foreign languages, and technology.
One of the main features of the new curriculum will include supporting transitions between primary and post-primary education.
