Gardai arrested two men in relation to a burglary that occurred in Virginia yesterday morning.
It's understood that the break in occurred at a public house on the main street in town just before 11am.
Two men, one aged in his 30s and the other in his 40s, were both arrested in connection with the incident. Both have since been released pending file to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardai say investigations are ongoing at this time. The Irish Independent are reporting that both men were detained by officers shortly after they were spotted driving into the rear of a pub in Virginia. Gardaí attached to Bailieboro Garda Station took off in pursuit of the two suspects before stopping and arresting them both a short time later.
