All three LEAs in Monaghan are above the average, while Bailieborough-Cootehill is the highest in the region.

Two areas of County Cavan have Covid incidence rates below the national average.

All three LEAs in Monaghan are above the average, while Bailieborough-Cootehill is the highest in the region.

Over the past two weeks, there have been 493 Covid-19 cases per 100,000 thousand population across Ireland.

In Cavan-Belturbet over the same period it was 431, while Ballyjamesduff was 484.

The Carrickmacross-Castleblayney is next, and just above the national average at 503 cases per 100,000 population.

Ballybay-Clones has a rate of 539, while the Monaghan LEA is the highest in the county with a rate of 594.

Bailieborough-Cootehill has the highest incidence rate in the region at 770 cases per 100,000 population.

Waterford City South has the highest rate in the country and over three times the national average, while Bellmullet in Mayo has the lowest at just 119.
