Truagh Spirit Social Enterprise located in North Monaghan have been named as a finalist in this year's IE. DIGITAL TOWN AWARDS.
The local group have been nominated in the Newcomer category of the national awards that will be held in Athlone next month.
The impact of the pandemic meant Truagh had to completely rethink their business model and start using digital options to reduce social isolation and loneliness.
They are also hosting coffee morning tomorrow at The Blackwater Valley Digital Hub @ Errigal Heritage Centre which is part of Connected Hubs' national initiative to raise awareness around the importance of remote working facilities.
