Tributes have been paid to a Co Fermanagh teenager who lost his life as a result of a fatal road traffic incident. The PSNI confirmed the death Oisin Gregg following a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Kesh last Friday. Officers received a report shortly after 6pm on Friday evening, 7th June of a collision on the Letterboy Road involving a silver Peugeot 207 Sport HDI and blue Honda Accord.
Sadly, 18-year-old Oisin Gregg, who was the driver of a silver Peugeot 207 Sport HDI, has since passed away from his injuries in hospital. A PSNI investigation is continuing to establish exactly what occurred. Police would like to reiterate their appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dash-cam footage to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1515 07/06/24. The remains of the late Oisin Gregg will arrive in Slavin Parish Church, Loughshore Rd. Enniskillen BT93 3DA on Sunday for 2pm Funeral Service followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard.
In a touching tribute posted online, his former school Devenish College stated; "The Devenish College community are devastated and heartbroken to learn of the tragic passing of our former student, Oisin Gregg. Oisin offered so much to our College during his five years as a student. He was such a kind, pleasant, mannerly and hardworking young man, with a fantastic spirit and enthusiasm. His love of sport was so evident in soccer and athletics. He also represented our school in rugby, being a key member of the 2022 Pollock Cup winning team. Our thoughts, prayers and unwavering support are with the entire Gregg family including his Mum and Dad, Mary and Gareth, sister, Aoife and brothers, Aaron, Callum and Oscar."
