Tributes have been continuing to pour in for local GAA player Thomas Moore following his untimely death.
The beloved Ballinagh GAA man passed away in Beaumont Hospital following an illness on Wednesday.
His passing has left Ballinagh and the wider Cavan GAA community in shock and immense grief. Thomas was a highly respected postman and a popular figure on his rounds. His hometown club praised Mr Moore as somebody who 'epitomised what it meant to be a clubman'. He won a number of honours in the yellow jersey, including two intermediate championships - captaining the side in 2020 and also a senior title.
Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Saturday from 4.00pm until 8.00pm. Thomas' requiem Mass will be held on Sunday (St Patrick's Day) at 2.00pm in St Felim's Church Ballinagh, Interment afterwards. House strictly private at all times.
