Tributes have been paid to past president of the Virginia Show, Sean Farrelly, who passed on Tuesday.
Sean's family were among the founding members of the Virginia Agricultural Show Society.
He was a former Ramor United GFC player, and was nicknamed "The Rock" for his "fair but tough" playing style.
Sean won a Senior Championship with Ramor United in 1974, and achieved the same feat with Virginia Blues more than a decade previous.
In an online post, Ramor United described Sean as the "ultimate gentleman, with a kind word for everyone he met".
His funeral mass will take place on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock in Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia, followed by burial in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Maghera.
