People from Monaghan and beyond have expressed their disbelief and sadness at the unexpected passing of Kerry Wallace.
Kerry was best-known as the friendly, smiling face and superb vegetarian cook at the Hive Restaurant on Monaghan Town's Glaslough Street. Kerry passed away suddenly at her home on Saturday after finishing her usual shift at the Hive.
In almost all the messages posted by stunned customers and Monaghan people below the notice about her untimely death, people describe Kerry Wallace as "one in a million" who always had a smile, chat and hug for everyone she met.

Kerry’s Funeral service will take place in Mc Mahons Funeral Home, Mullan Road, Emyvale, H18 FK80 on Friday (3rd) at 12 Noon followed by Cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. Kerry’s Funeral cortège will stop at The Hive, Glaslough Street, Monaghan on route to Cavan.
