A native of Donegal, Tommy was well known for his Drumbarron flock of Suffolk sheep right across the country.

Tributes have been paid to a Monaghan sheep breeder who died in a farming accident.

Tommy Feeney passed away on Tuesday after an incident near his home in Castleblayney.

A native of Donegal, Tommy was well known for his Drumbarron flock of Suffolk sheep right across the country.

His GAA club in Ardara said he will be remembered for his "smile and quick wit that endeared him to all".

Tommy is survived by his wife, two children and extended family.

His funeral will take place in Corduff on Saturday at 12 noon.
