Tributes have been paid to Monaghan GAA stalwart, Marion Donnelly.
Marion proudly sat on the management of Monaghan GAA as Ulster Delegate, an office which she held in the highest regard and performed her duties with "distinction" and "pride."
In a statement posted to social media, Monaghan GAA said, "Marion had a highly decorated career on Monaghan GAA serving as Assistant Secretary from 2000-2003, Assistant Treasurer in 2004 then moving into the position of Treasurer in 2005.
"Serving as Treasurer from 2005 until 2015 Marion was instrumental in the development of our Entekra Ireland Monaghan GAA training facilities in Cloghan.
Sitting on numerous Monaghan GAA and Ulster GAA sub committees Marion had a strong interest in the development of our clubs and would do her upmost in supporting and advising clubs with her vast expertise and knowledge."
The club when on to describe Marion as a "wonderful stalwart" to her club Emyvale GAA Club.
They added that Marion was a "trojan worker" whose work and service speaks volumes about her massive contribution and involvement with the GAA.
Elsewhere, Silver Hill Duck based in Co Monaghan paid tribute to the "untimely passing" of their former colleague.
In a heartfelt statement the company said, "Marion joined Silver Hill on 31st October 1972, where she started out taking telephones calls and carrying out the bookkeeping function for the company. Over the intervening years, she worked her way up to become our Finance Director and a major part of the success of Silver Hill.
Marion's remains will leave her sister Nuala's residence, Mullan Road, Emyvale, tomorrow morning at 10.15am to arrive at St.Patrick's Church, Corracrin for 11am Funeral Mass.
Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
