Tributes paid to man who died in Aughnacloy lake

Tributes have been paid to a young man who died in a drowning incident at a lake in Aughnacloy last night.

He has been described as a “loving and caring young man with a bright future ahead of him". The young man was a nephew of Sinn Fein MEP candidate in Midlands North West Michelle Gildernew.

In a social media post this evening she described Fiachra as a funny, rebellious, kind and generous man adding he was one in a million.
