Tributes have been paid to the former Church of Ireland Bishop of Clogher, the Right Reverend Brian Hannon, following his passing on Monday morning at the age of 85.
Bishop Brian Hannon served as the Church of Ireland Bishop of Clogher from 1986 to 2001.
The Catholic Bishop of Clogher, Larry Duffy, said it was with "deep sorrow" that he learned of Bishop Hannon's death.
The Monaghan native said the deceased Bishop made an "immense contribution" in the diocese, adding that it was his Christian mission to "heal wounds and to work together for peace".
Bishop Duffy extended his sympathies to his wife Maeve, his sons, and to the wider Church of Ireland community in the Diocese of Clogher.
