Air and sea routes from Britain could be cut off before Christmas as the Government here considers a ban on non-essential travel.
It's over concerns about a variant of Covid-19 that UK doctors say is up to 70% more infectious.
Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands and now Germany and Austria say they will do the same.
The Government here meanwhile has said it may introduce advice on travelling between Northern Ireland and the Republic.
A number of cases of the new strain are believed to have been reported there.
The new strain hasn't turned up in any tests here -- but National Virus Reference Lab director Professor Cillian de Gascún says it's spread rapidly in Britain.
