People with invisible disabilities will be able to wear a new badge or card to help them get a seat on public transport.
Transport for Ireland and Invisible Disability Ireland says it can be used on providers like Bus Éireann, Dublin Bus and Iarnród Éireann.
The badge will help passengers with conditions like autism, multiple sclerosis or chronic pain who have has difficulty standing alert passengers they need a seat.
National Transport Authority Head of Public Transport Regulation Dominic Hannigan has this advice on how to get a card:
"If they contact their local transport operator, whether that's Bus Éireann, Luas or Dart, and ask them to send one out and they will do so in a matter of days."
