A top public health doctor says he's worried about the risk of importing new cases of covid-19 to the island of Ireland from Great Britain.
Dr Gabriel Scally says any plan to lift lockdown here any earlier depends on the number of new cases emerging staying low.
Two more people infected with covid-19 were reported to have died yesterday, and 66 more people have tested positive for the virus.
Cavan saw one new case of Covid-19. Its total stands at 834.
Monaghan had two new cases, with its total now at 509.
There are now a total 1,652 Covid-19 related deaths and the total number of people infected is 24,990.
