The Co Monaghan teenagers were on their way to the Largy College School debs at the time.

Today marks one year since the tragic deaths of Co Monaghan teenagers Dlava Mohammad and Kiea McCann. Both girls were on their way to a school debs when the fatal collision happened at Legnakelly outside Clones on the 31st of July last year.

Best friends 17-year-old Kiea McCann and 16-year-old Dlava Mohamed tragically lost their lives on July 31st, when the car they were travelling in, hit a tree on a section of the N54 at Legnakelly near Clones. A man has since been charged with dangerous driving causing the deaths of Kiea McCann and Dlava Mohamed, he is also charged with dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm to another person.
