Today is the last one for posting cards and mail to the North of Ireland in advance of Christmas. Yesterday was the deadline for cards going to Britain.
Anna McHugh - Head of communications with An Post - says the sooner they are posted, the better. "Thursday is the absolute latest date for posting within the Republic of Ireland.
"That includes letters and parcels and we advise people to pack them properly, use lots of tape, and always include a return address. And before you throw your cards into the post box, go through the cards again," she added.
