An anniversary mass for Clodagh Hawe and her sons Liam, Niall, and Ryan will
take place this evening.
Today marks the fifth anniversary of their murder at the hands Alan Hawe at
their family home in Castlerahan, Co Cavan, in 2016.
Alan later took his own life.
A serious case review into the killings, which was established in March of
2019, is still on-going.
Clodagh's family has since called for Inheritance Law reform to prevent the
relatives of people who kill their families from benefitting financially.
The anniversary mass takes place at 6.30pm in St. Mary's Church,
Castlerahan.
