Three people have appeared in Court after breaking into a van near Monaghan town.
On Friday evening, Gardai responded to calls of suspicious activity in a town carpark and found a quantity of tools in a car.
It was determined that a van had just been broken into and the tools had been taken from it.

Other items that would be used for burglaries were also recovered.
The occupants of the car, two men and one woman, were arrested and charged with related offences.
They appeared in Court on Monday and Gardai have thanked the public who were vigilant to suspicious behaviour.
