Three men have been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of a PSNI officer in Co Tyrone earlier this year. Detective Chief Inspector John Caldwell was shot multiple times at a sports centre in Omagh on February 22nd.
The PSNI says three men aged 45, 47 and 58 were arrested in the Newtownabbey, Coalisland and Belfast areas this morning. They've been taken to the Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning under the Terrorism Act.
It brings the number of arrests in connection with the attempted murder so far to 31.
