Three Social Enterprises across Cavan and Monaghan are set to benefit from up to €10,000 in funding under the ARISE scheme.
The Awareness Raising Initiative for Social Enterprise Scheme was set up to provide grants to Social Enterprises to help them promote the positive impact they have on their local communities.
Funding of €680,000 will be shared between 50 organisations nationwide, with close to €23,000 headed to the Northern Sound region.
The Cottage Market in Cavan will receive €10,000, as will Truagh Development in Co Monaghan.
Elsewhere, just under €3,000 is headed to the Ulster Canal Stores in Clones.
The funding was announced by Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys, who says the grants "will support the vital work being done across the social enterprise sector".
