Three local areas in Cavan and Monaghan have seen increases in their 14 day incidence rate.
The north Monaghan LEA is twice the national average, while Carrickmacross-Castleblayney continues to have one of the lowest rates in the country.
At the start of this week, the Covid-19 14 day incidence rate across Ireland was 80.2.
In the last two weeks there were 39 confirmed cases in the north Monaghan area, bringing its incidence rate up to 171.8.
Ballybay-Clones also saw an increase, and now has a rate of 127.5.
The Ballyjamesduff area was the only part of Cavan to have an increase in the 14 day rolling average.
There was a 30 per cent increase there, with the rate now just below the national average at 77.5.
Bailieborough-Cootehill had a slight drop, going to 61.4, with Cavan-Belturbet having the most significant reduction locally with the rate there now at 50.1.
There were fewer than five confirmed cases in Carrickmacross-Castleblayney over the past two weeks.
The incidence rate in south Monaghan remains at the lowest level.
