Three drivers taken to hospital following Monaghan crash

A person had to be cut from their car after after a three-vehicle collision in Monaghan town last night.

Gardaí were called to the scene at Gortakeegan just after 10.20pm yesterday.

Ambulance and fire crews assisted in removing one of the drivers from their car, and all three drivers were taken to hospital as a precaution.

No serious injuries were reported and investigations are ongoing.
