Three Cavan students are among a group of nine from across the country to be awarded bursaries from Lakeland Dairies to support their studies.
The three Co Cavan winners are: Maria Finnegan from Arva, Jack Barry from Bailieboro and Killian O'Reilly from Ballinagh.
Maria is studying Agricultural Science in DKIT, Jack is pursuing a Master's in Civil Engineering with UCD and Killian is studying Agricultural Engineering in ATU Galway. In a move to develop future leaders in agriculture, Lakeland Dairies awarded bursaries worth 2,000 EURO or 2,000 POUNDS to nine talented students pursuing third-level studies in agricultural science, dairy science, and engineering.
The bursaries were presented to the winners at Lakeland Dairies' head office in Cavan last week, marking a significant step towards advancing education and innovation within the dairy industry.
