A third arrest has been made as part of the investigation into a knife attack in Dublin city centre. 34 year-old Quam Babatunde died after being stabbed on South Anne Street over the weekend.
Gardaí have arrested a third man in connection with this murder investigation following the stabbing in the early hours of Saturday morning. The suspect, who is in his 20s, was arrested yesterday evening in Dublin city.
Two other men were arrested in Dublin and Belfast - including a 23 year-old man who was arrested by the PSNI shortly before trying to board a ferry to Liverpool. Gardaí have issued a fresh appeal for witnesses - anyone who was in the vicinity of South Anne Street and Duke Lane Upper between 2:45am and 3:30am on Saturday is being asked to come forward.
