Joe Biden has confirmed he'll visit both Northern Ireland and the Republic to mark the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement.
He was formally invited to the north by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak during a joint press conference in San Diego last night.
Its expected the official invitation to travel to the Republic will be made by Taoiseach Leo Varadkar when he attends the St. Patrick's Day reception at the White House this week.
Dates for the visit haven't yet been confirmed but it's understood the US Secret Service have been carrying out security assessments here in recent weeks.
President Biden told Mr. Sunak he can't believe it's been 25 years since the agreement was signed:
