The Northern Ireland secretary says the UK Government remains committed to providing specialist support and expertise to the PSNI. Yesterday, the force revealed it's now confident that terrorists are in possession of personal information that was mistakenly put online.
The details include surnames, initials, ranks and base locations on thousands of PSNI officers and civilian staff. Chief Constable Simon Byrne was asked if the threat level's going to be raised following the breach.
"We're in active conversation every day with specialists within the UK Government. It will be their determination if the threat level changes. If it does we will advising both our workforce and the public," he added.
