A tender has been issued by Cavan County Council for repair works to Nine Eye Bridge in Maghera.
The contract will include "extensive repointing of the entire masonry arch structure".
The Local Authority is seeking work to be carried out that will involve repairs to the bridge's structures and walls.
As well as the "extensive repointing of the entire nine eye masonry arch structure", repairs will also be made to the spandrel and parapet walls and to the bridge's capping stones.
Wet dash will be applied to sections of the bridge structure, alongside the installation of rubbing strip to protect the wall and to prevent water ingress.
The deadline for submissions is 12 pm on Friday, the 19th of March.
