Police are investigating a report of a suspicious approach to a child in the Kinawley area yesterday. It was reported that a teenage boy was approached by two men at around 9.15am on the Drumroosk Road, who attempted to make him get into their vehicle. Their vehicle, a dark-blue Vauxhall Zafira had Republic of Ireland number plates.
The boy was not injured, however has been left upset by the experience. PSNI Detective Sergeant Curley said: "We understand the concern this will raise and we want to reassure the local community that we take all reports of this nature extremely seriously.
Police in Fermanagh are appealling to anyone who was in the area at that time yesterday afternoon and who may have noticed the dark-blue Vauxhall Zafira to contact them. In particular, officers would like to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage. The number to call police from the North is 101.
